In 1982 I met Richard Noble, the noted director and photographer.
He gave me my first break in photography by hiring me as his assistant.
Working with Richard, I developed a deep appreciation for the
art of photography. I worked with him on the Virginia Slims cigarette
advertisements, Clint Eastwood films, as well as photography shoots
of celebrities and athletes, such as Bo Jackson for his autobiographical
book.
At Richards encouragement, I moved to New York City in
1986 to assist E.J. Camp for Rolling Stone Magazine, Richard Imrie
for Harpers & Queen Magazine, and finally Annie Liebovitz
for Vanity Fair Magazine.
The Deano Mueller Studio was created
in 1989 with an emphasis on editorial and fashion photography
for magazines such as Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and DNR. We also
produced major advertising campaigns, album covers, as well as
music videos and commercials. We specialize in large format (4x5)
and digital photography.
Whether in the studio or shooting on location, our team can make
artistic and timeless photographs for you. Our goal is to listen
and work with you as a team. With our experience and art of photography,
we satisfy our clients to make their visual expectations come
true.
